Ive been eating a lot this days. Seriously, on monday night for example, i had 2 lunch, 2 dinners and a supper. Supper was at 2am at McD's admiralty and just to tell you what i meant by a lot -i had a fillet o fish, a double-cheese, 1 medium fries and 1 large coke. And tts for supper! Haha. With the fasting month coming reaally soon, hope i'll be able to tahan a bit.Oh and did i ever mention to u people that i wanna grow fat? well maybe not fat, but put on another 5 kg at least? And at times like this, we start to realize the lil things that matters most.Lil things that we have always taken for granted. The H1N1 influenza virus certainly needs no further introduction. Despite claims by the Mexican government that the spread of the flu in their country is under control, the number of suspected cases and death tolls around the world are rising.All of a sudden,the Singapore government starts introducing desperate measures in every sector of the country in the hope that even if the virus were to reach our shores, the impact it would have on the country would be positively limited.You have to learn from ur lesson they always say, and i certainly believe that not only Singapore, but other S.E.A countries too have prepared well ever since the SARS virus took the lifes of thousands.Temperature checks in schools, protective masks in hospitals, u name it! Being a" kiasu" bunch of citizens, its no surprise that we have stood well in introducing basic preventive measures to the best of our ability. On the contrary though, i think we all should spare a moment and think about the preparations we have on the mental side. Ask yourself,will you be ready if ur loved ones are in the shoes of those fighting for their lives against this terrible disease(GOD bless us all)Will u be ready if ur best friend are in those shoes.Will YOU be ready should YOU get it?(GOD bless us all again)There's no harm in preparing ourself mentally for the worst,at least we will learn to appreciate the people around us more and better still,love them even more. I went to Woodlands CC at 7pm just now to attend a club talk/meeting/referee thingy whatever. The whole thing lasted for about 2 n a half hours and omg,it was so boring!To be honest,the only highlight of the meeting was eating the chicken briyani the caterers provided. Haha. After the talk ended, i stayed back for quite bit with the guys n suddenly out of nowhere a man came up to me n asked, " You're Rosli's son kan?" i recognized him immediately to be the driver of the 912 bus i frequently take every morning. I said yes n almost a sec later, the conversation started. To cut it short, he was my dad's secondary school classmate n he seemed to be very close with my dad from the way he fondly told me his stories. And I didnt know i look a lot like my father. Cos the guy, cik Husain, told me tt i looked like my dad at my age. Or rather, my dad looked like me when he was younger. Lol. All these years, ive only seen a picture or two of him in his early 20s.I badly wanna see how macho he was when he was active in malay tv dramas! TT aside, to haf someone coming up to me asking if im someone's son just by looking at my facial features shows a great deal of how great a person my Man was. Really, he even remembered tt my dad has nice handwriting. =p And now im wondering how many of my friends will look at my boy in the future and immediately know tt he's my child or in other words, remember me as a friend. Lets hope no one remembers my "nice-but-not-so-nice" handwriting though. =D

Its been a really2 tiring week for me. Having attachments n daily soccer trainings is just so draining. Especially when ive to deal with stressful deadlines of my major project and all . The training sessions are no better! With a coach who doesnt seem to treasure his mouth,i keep wondering when i'll go insane.Fortunately though, e whole prime league squad will get a much needed 2 days off before the game at the Padang on Sunday evening. I guess it'll be another new experience for me playing in a different environment altogether. omg, I really think its cool to play in soccer match with the Singapore skyline in the background.=)Tt aside, i hope all the players' contracts will be finalized asap cos i need money to pay the hp bills n stuff. got back from KL yesterday evening and i rushed off to kallang stadium straight after to watch Singapore's match.. Yup2, they lost! sakit hati. haha..but what happened after the match was so uncalled for. I pity those vietnamese fans who came just to support their team. Like seriously,dont you Singaporeans have anything better to do??

You know,you people should try asking a bangla to ride you home on his bicycle.Cause i did. And i got a whole load of unwitting stares from pepol at the bus stops. Its kinda cool to see how pepol react, cos we Singaporeans dun often get to see a foreign worker and a local on a same bicycle.=P

How i wish ive never understood the word relationship(s) . As beautiful as a relationship can be, it certainly can turn ugly when things go out of hand. Matters beyond your control, beyond the limits tt you can take. Even the strong falters in these situations. And certainly one would think back and wonder how on earth he/she got stuck in such an irreversible mess. We can always argue tt its in the nature of us, humans, to get attracted to the opposite sex.But the question is, is it love? or just an infatuation? All those sweet moments you had with ur bf/gf. Are they just meant to be silent,balck n white films in ur memory, or are they ones with beautiful colours waiting to be shared. I typed out this post because im thankful to GOD for giving me such wonderful people,a loving couple to be exact. My parents. They are THE perfect example of how a relationship should be n im sure all of you can say the same about ur parents. Although some of you might not be on the same wavelength as me,i suggest you think for a moment n appreciate the love ur parents had, just beautiful enough to haf someone as wonderful as you to breathe this earth of HIS.Seriously =)

A whole new chapter in my life as a tertiary student. Its back to school now, no more holidaying.No more late nights. And it'll be 8hrs plus of theory and lab pracs everyday. I cant believe how much sweets n tidbits i ate during the first day cos Its hard to keep ur eyes open when the lessons are dry. Luckily, the 2nd day is much2 better compared to the 1st cos the teacher somehow managed to catch our attention by not teaching through the really2 thick books! So i guess, there's like 76 more days to go before i complete 2 of the most important modules in my bid to obtain the Aircraft Maintenance License. I need to haf this cos ive somehow planned how im gg to spend the next few years of my young adult life n i haf a feeling its gonna be great with all the wages n the-free-trips-all-around-the-world thingy. Im gonna keep working hard n i pray to GOD to bless me with the best of health n the commitment to do my job well as a student! Insyaallah! =)

p.s hamstring pulls are killing me.. -_-

Hola pepol! Today was payday n tt kind of made my day. i couldnt belief i took 963 all the way frm wdlds to harbourfrt n back.1 hr 30 mins per trip. 3hrs of torture sey. Luckily i had my chocs to keep me alive. Anw, sent my younger sis off at the airport with my family just now. She's heading to Kunming for a school trip and i hope she'll enjoy her 6 days there though im not sure if she can "tahan" the freezing temperatures. TT aside, im sure u'll haf lotsa fun n remember to buy me smth kaes.

School's starting in 6 days n i think im ready for it. I'll still continue working on the weekends though to earn my own pocket money n pay my hp bills.I cant depend on my dad alone cos he's not in a great shape at the moment n i think its the right time for me to start being independent. Independent not in every sense you can think of but just enough for an 18 year old. As i grow, i find myself looking back at my sec school daes n thinking a lot bout my mistakes.As funny as it may seem, i think a lot of my friends are beginning to realize how naive we were back then. Im not trying to say im all grown up but life certainly has a way of telling a person, " hey, you were wrong, are u still gonna repeat ur mistakes?" =) The most important thing though is to enjoy what ure doing, and never let any regrets creeps through after tt.

Bangkok, here i come!Omg, im so so thankful tt i got chosen for the 18-man squad to go to thailand! =) Although im mainly looking forward to the shopping n eating, im really excited at the prospect of playing against the Thais. They're good ya know.. hehe.. and to put the icing on the cake, we're not travelling on some budget airlines. Thai airways baby!

Anw, i wanna say sorry to all those who tried contacting me over the past week. My hp rosak la bebs. Imagine my frustation at not bein able to receive calls . And worse, the pain of sending an sms only to receive a reply like two days later. Thank GOD, i just got a new phone! LG back label series with a 5Mp cam. Hees. =p

That aside, i wanna wish all my friends who just completed their A-levels, Congratulations! Its certainly a success completing ur As compared to those who completed ur Os.

Sometimes, the songs you always used to sing while you're dreaming in lala land would turn awfully bad ,cos basically it reminds you of something/someone.Those distant memories of being in a relationship or even the times you felt like you just wanna give up cos u feel tt ur Mary Jane Watson would never realise ur sincerity n effort you're putting in to try to make her care. One funny thing about my soccer trainings nowadays is the fact tt more n more of my friends are made to take off their jerseys and do their training half-naked in front of the cheerleading girls. The routine is simple. Once u "kena ole" or in other words, someone manages to pass the ball through ur legs, u are gone! Off goes ur jersey! haha..and if u "kena ole" again, u haf to pull up ur shorts up to ur belly-button and run around like an idiotic fella. For me to take off my clothes in front of the girls, never!Cos I dun haf ronaldo's fabulous curves sey.. haha..i was wishing all the while tt no one will ever "ole" me..Guess wat, my luck ran out uh beb.. heh! I was chasing for the ball and somehow the darn ball managed to squeeze through my legs. I was gone! For a moment, i felt like running away from the field and hiding myself in the changing room or smth. But my friends were already laughing like they've just struck the lottery and my coach was no better, joining his players in their solitary moment of triumph. I finally took off my jersey. -_____-
It was one of the most traumatic experiences for me really. A nightmare to be exact.How i wished i could haf faked an injury.Heee. Looking at the brighter side, a friend of mine joined the bandwagon.

oooh..talking bout joining the half-naked bandwagon, i remembered a few weeks back, another friend of mine had to undergo a similar fate.Problem is, he's kinda big n he has got tt xtra fats on his chest! oh my GOD! All of us couldnt stop laughing cos he was covering his chest with his jersey all the while during training.It was seriously a funny sight.GOD forgive me. =) aniwaes, for the record, the same guy dislocated his thumb last week during practice.It was horrible seeing his thumb being in an awkward position.But whatever it is, thank you la friend for providing us with tt momentary entertainment. K pepol.. enjoy ur weekends!

I finally got myself a baju melayu .yay! Just a piece this year; save money ler. =) aniwaes, i wanna do my samping outside with the "bunga" and all this year but i dun haf a clue la on how to do it right. Someone please teach me!! =p And ive cut my hair shorter. rimas la rambut panjang2.. hee.. Oh ya, i just cant stop singing hari raya songs to myself..hah.. Especially the song by "anuar n elina". Gerek! Biler nak pegi karaoke?! haha..k random.. Aniwaes, the last few daes of Ramadhan are special really. Just ask anything from GOD n He'll grant ur wishes. Like seriously..But of course ur prayers must be "reachable" la, dont go on praying tt you're getting Nora Danish or Heidi Klum as ur bride! haha! Ok then! 2 more days to raya.. =)

So i went to Zara, Topman, River Island,Pull n Bear etc at Vivo City with Naqib just now to find a new piece of clothing for myself. My bestie managed to get himself a pair of shoes from Pull n Bear and although it cost a lot, i thought e shoe was worth it. Lawar la! And2 he bought himself a pair of greyish? pants for Hari Raya..Pon lawar jugak! AND i had a hard time searching for the hoodie i wanted. Had to consider the cost n also the usability? of the product. Cos there's like a lot of clothings displayed in those shops which are not meant to be worn in Singapore's oh so humid climate! lol.. After hours of searching, i finally spotted this cool fleece in Zara.And yup, i bought it.. =P Thank GOD i found the fleece, cos i almost gave up finding, due to e constant entering n exiting of the shops. Furthermore, i accidentally stretched my hamstring(again!) a lil bit while surveying a pair of shoes. We called it a day after buying all the stuffs mentioned and we reached woodlands at ard 7pm.Just in time for "buka".
Its training again on friday but ive yet to recover so i think i'll just do my own recovery while the guys sweat it out running 8 rounds of 75 seconds each ard the stadium track.And i wanted so badly to help paint my sec 1 malay teacher's hse with Shark but so sorry man, training ah beb. =) And yup, i'll be gg to the geylang bazaars in search for my Baju Melayu after my training session.Huuuh..This year's Hari Raya is soo gonna be more meaningful for me. (:

Due to the long hours of staying up late everyday since 29 august 2008, here i am now wide awake with my eyes wide open and displaying characteristics of an insomniac..HAh.. =)anw, im soo gonna get tt hoodie from ZaRA with naqib n shark later.. And i haf to buy myself lotsa black pants/jeans for my attachment which starts on e 1st of december. Yup, 1 december 2008! My holidaes panjang kannn.. Jgn jealous! =p and im like rotting at home! No2 for me.. TTs y im planning to go back to my old work at Rasa sentosa resort. =) Although i hate the fact tt ive to follow people's orders being a waiter, it seems kinda cool especially when you get to serve the Org2 kaya..haha!Plus, u get to work at Siloso beach.. * aiman knows wat i mean..nyeh nyeh.. k then pepol,hari raya is just around the corner. =) So happy fasting n happy Hari raya! =)

Anw, my hamstring still hurts like crazy..i tried to jog a lil at school jus now but the "pull" was still there..Grrrrr..But fortunately, i dun haf to limp like Mr Selamat animore. =P Tp lost 2-0 i think against a very good singapore Malays FC side. And Nazri Nasir played! how i wish i could go 1 on 1 against him..=(( Back to reality, i haf to concentrate on recovering and im doing my best ok! haha.. *Pain2 go away...

I pulled my hamstring! =( (for the benefit of those who dunno where a hamstring muscle is, its at the back of ur thigh) Anw, I was just running after the ball,yea,running! And it suddenly pulled.My first reaction was like, "Oh GOD,dun tell me i snapped my muscles" It was so painful n i couldnt walk an inch more. I signalled to the bench, hoping tt anyone would notice my distraught expression but lo n behold, no one did! It was then i decided to lay down on the field n only then the play was stopped. The referee came to me and asked me a few stupid questions which i cannot disclose but i remembered swearing at her all the while i was on the ground.Hah! I was carried out off the field anw n my hamstring was iced straightaway. I'll probably have to abstain from any physical activities for a few weeks . =( Gives me a reason to stay at home at least. Tapi mendakk sey!
